Boulevard of Broken Valentinehi friends, strangers or my fans...! yes, as u have guessed ah kai is back! well today is 14/02/2006 and no one has ask me out yet haha but actually this yr i didn't really ask anyone out, well simply there is no one free to be ask and those to be ask i guess have been asked so i save my time from the trouble and the other reason is i'm now swimming in the sea of projects and deadline...SIGHZ no time for this kind of things well many would say valentines day is not really about goin out with the gal or guy u like but for friends. YES i agree! that's why i'm dedicating today's blog for one of my special friend other then (Jesus is my BEST friend) it's a HE and don't get me wrong... i'm not GAY!
so TO ONE OF MY SPECIAL FRIEND : But i guess u wouldn't be able to read this...but no worries, i'll read it to u when i see u ok! i dunno when we'll meet but i know we will, i PROMISE...!!!

It's been a month u have gone but i know u are in safe hands of our heavenly father! even though u can't see this post but i will write it for u and i know that u are at the finishing line cheering on for many of us that are still in the race!
Alvin Tan, Thank You for ur life that has impacted me in some ways that i didn't mention when u are around but still i will say:
Thank you for being my friend when i 1st joined the church even as a non believer
Thank you for being a drummer that i look up to and i was inspired to be a drummer becos of u.
Thank you for the time u spent teaching me some drum-ing technics
Thank you for being my cell leader in the early JG days
Thank you for been so cheerful and always giving ur smile away to everyone
Thank you for encouragement when ever u see me discouraged
Thank you for everything
i wont forget the good old days of soccer with the rest and you in church, vincent's house and at the children camp 1994 when i 1st got to know the bunch of fantastic buddies...
4 days before u left us, ivan david, john, eugene and me were about to go and visit u at ur house but u were busy so we say another time will visit u again, not knowing what we really said but was roughly "
Aiya, still got alot of time one la, next time then we visit him again!" but it was only 4 days after that we really visited u but u were not able to hear or speak to us...!
SORRY!but rest assure that ur life spent on earth was not wasted and i believe that many of ur fruits has shown and many are growing. And i can imagine that the impact was so great, yes u are indeed a man that was broken before the LORD...many a times, u ask God why would many unfortunate things happen to u, like having heart problems mths b4 u left, break up with girlfriend and many disappointments and u keep asking God why? but i also know that u have surrendered all of that to God and u have told him that the whys does not matter and what matters is His Plan and Will for u... and today i can say that u have walked according to His Will a man that is always doing only the background work in ministry yet impacted and changed many youths life including mine...i guess it's fair that God has taken you back to rest as u have done much!
A life that has walked accordance to His Will His Planning, i was amazed by the no. of pple that came for ur wake that day some 500plus pple, that's when i realised, it's not how many pple u know or have befriend with but is how many pple have u impacted matters, i pray to God that i would wanna be like you. Your Patience to others i'm always amazed and i never seen u get angry even when pple have offended u... U reminded me of Some one who was the same like u, always forgiving, never changing, a man that was also broken b4 the LORD, he is none other than
JESUS CHRIST himself, till his death, he still forgive others that had wrong him and even walk according to the father's will...
Obedience is Far more better than Sacrifice!Lord i thank you for ALVIN TAN...!
