YEAP i'm back, well lately it's been funny cos i've been praying abt purpose in life
asking God what's His plans for me in every area of it. EVERY AREA YEAP cos if He is not the LORD of ALL, He is not LORD at ALL!
so this morning went to 832 our 1st service for church with michelle cos we are suppose to visit the bubble tea cell. BUT the important thing i would like to mention is the service when the pastor Tony Chi (sound like some kung fu master) today he taught abt purpose in God.
talking abt our purpose and abt last part jeremiah 29:11-13
lately was learning abt how obedience to God is more important than any sacrifices we made and more important than anything that we do for Him too...and today it hit me, jer 29:11 speaks of God's promises and purpose for us, to know it verse 12-13 speaks of seeking, praying and searching for Him, and with ALL OUR HEART. ALL = ALL not partial or some... and in order for our purpose to be fulfilled
it requires OBEDIENCE. cos sometimes we can hear from wat God has to say and yet not doing it. like the speaker illustrate, if a fisherman who does not catch any fish, is he still called a fisherman.
AND IF u are a CHRISTIAN and u have never evangelise or reach one soul for the kingdom of God are u still called a CHRISTIAN??? WOAHHHH....
lastly few days ago met a friend for dinner and she mention something like this "EVEN the stars are praising God and reflecting His glory simply by doing what they are supposed to do. So all we need to do is...just do what we are supposed to do and we'll be reflecting His glory. There's no need for doing spectacular, out-of-the-way things. He desires obedience, more than sacrifice. "

YUP anyway if u notice, it's all abt OBEDIENCE to GOD.
LORD help me to learn to hear and obey too!
